KINO EXPLAINS:
An intricate piece of artwork with a charming and magical feel -- "The artwork of both of these decks is absolutely stunning, with a charming and magical feel to them. The reason I love them so much together is because they represent our whole world, from the bottom of the sea (Below the Surface Oracle) to the stars up above (Aurora Tarot). Many of us feel a special soul connection to both the sea and the stars, and these decks allow us to immerse ourselves in the distinct beauty and vastness of each. In addition, I love that the decks together contain all different shades of blue, from light to dark, and they both have beautiful iridescent details."
At half way through the year, here's what to look for -- "As we enter into Summer, it’s a time for us to nurture and expand what we are creating. We can take a more leisurely pace as our manifestations have been set into motion and are gaining momentum on their own. At the same time, we may start planning for the second half of the year, and thinking about what we would like to change or let go of.
I used this bundle for a “mid-year check-in” reading on my YouTube channel (I did the reading for myself as well), and the decks worked so wonderfully together. We saw what progress we have made so far in 2024, and asked for guidance as we moved into the second half of the year. I was surprised how many insights came out with few cards. Each one is so full of wisdom.
I think using this bundle’s duality of “under the sea” / “up in the sky” themes would be great for a reading. You could look at your situation from a “bottom up” perspective, or from a “top down” perspective.
For example, I may first ask the Below the Surface Oracle, “What action do I need to take right now?” Then for further information, I would ask the Aurora Tarot, “What will manifest if I take this action?” Using the decks in this order puts the focus on myself first, and then I can see what effect my actions would have on the world around me.
Alternatively, I could start with the Aurora Tarot and ask, “What is coming next in my life?” Then for further information, I would ask the Below the Surface Oracle, “How can I best respond to this upcoming event?” Using the decks in this order puts the focus on the Universe and what it’s bringing me, then I can find out how to adjust my energy accordingly."
Summer filled with inspired action and my favorite card -- "The Knight of Wands is my favorite wands card! Instead of having all Knights on horses, each Knight in the Aurora Tarot has a different creature companion, which I love. For the Knight of Wands, they are depicted on a rabbit, which can be a symbol of fertility, abundance, and rapid growth. While the rabbit leaps forward enthusiastically, the Knight herself appears relaxed and poised. I feel that this card is telling us that when we take inspired action, we can move forward with a sense of ease and inner peace while the Divine does a lot of the heavy lifting for us. I also think that when we are truly passionate about something, we can work much harder than we usually would, and at the end of the day we can feel tired without feeling drained. This card highlights the important difference in how hard work and progress feels when it comes from a place of excitement and inspiration. It is a privilege to get to do work like that, and we may not get to experience that feeling all the time - but we should recognize that it is possible to feel that way about the work we do, and that we are worthy of a peaceful, passion-filled life."
